We're building the Grammaropolis we always pictured.
A lot has changed in the last 15 years.
Fifteen years ago I opened the doors to a town where the parts of speech could finally be themselves. We have taught a whole lot of kids since then.
Now we are rebuilding Grammaropolis from the ground up, bigger than the old town could ever hold, one neighborhood at a time. I would be honored to have you watch it go up.
Play the Arcade.
Twelve free games. No sign-up, no app to download. Just the characters and a few good minutes with grammar.
Grammar Drop
Catch the falling words, sort each to the right character, and watch them build a real sentence.
Play →Free, and safe for kids. No account needed.
The same characters. A whole new town.
Each character will teach a concept, check that it landed, practice it alongside your students, and turn up in stories and games where grammar happens without anyone calling it a lesson. The same Nelson who introduces a first grader to nouns is still at the table when that student writes essays in eighth grade. Grades 1 through 8, one cast, growing with the child.
Nine characters, nine parts of speech. Where every student starts.
Twelve officers keeping the sentences in order. Chief Comma runs the squad.
Where words click together into sentences. The Mayor runs the floor.
From a sentence to a finished essay, with the characters reading every line.
Vocabulary worth showing off. The words that make writing come alive.
Be the first to know when the new town opens.
We'll email you when each new department opens. No spam, just the good stuff.
A few questions you might have
Do I need an account to play the Arcade?
No. The Arcade is free for everyone, no sign-up required. If you already teach with Grammaropolis, your account works exactly the same as it does today.
Can I sign up right now instead of waiting?
The classic Grammaropolis subscription is still available, but we're building something better and would love to show it to you first. For now, play the free games in the Arcade, and join the waitlist so you're notified the moment the new town opens.
Do I need to do anything right now?
No. Keep using the classic site exactly as you do today. We'll tell you well before anything changes for you.
Will my students lose their progress?
No. Everything stays exactly where it is on the classic site today, and it comes with you when we move. You won't start over.
When will the new site be ready?
We're opening it one department at a time over the coming school year. Sign up above and we'll tell you the moment each piece goes live.
Something isn't working. Whom do I talk to?
Email support@grammaropolis.com and a real person will get back to you.
