The official Visitors Guide
Welcome. I'm the Mayor. Allow me to show you around.
Grammaropolis is a whole town for learning grammar and writing, Grades 1 through 8. Every visitor finds their footing a little differently, so I keep three routes posted at City Limits: one for teachers, one for families, and one for kids who just want to play. Pick yours below, and do mind the platypus.
For Teachers
Free for teachers, rostering included, standards-aligned across four frameworks.
- 1 Sign in free.
Use Clever, and your classes and students come along automatically. No Clever at your school? Sign in with your email or Google account instead; teachers are free either way.
Teacher sign-in → - 2 Set up your class.
With Clever, your class is already waiting. Otherwise, create your class and add your students in a few minutes; every student gets a simple way to sign in.
- 3 Walk through an open door.
Every department keeps a whole free lesson open at every grade, so you can try the real thing with your class before deciding anything.
Browse the departments → - 4 Put your students to work.
Students work through a lesson, a quiz, practice, and real writing of their own, all at their grade level and aligned to your standards.
See the whole curriculum → - 5 Watch the progress roll in.
Completed work and certificates show up in your class view, so you always know who finished what.
For Families
A safe place your kid will actually want to learn grammar. Free to start.
- 1 Create a grown-up account.
Email or Google, free to start. Nothing about your kid is collected before you say so.
Family sign-in → - 2 Add your kid.
A nickname is all it takes. No ads, no open chat, no grades or scores.
- 3 Let them loose in town.
The Arcade has fifteen free games with no account needed, and every teaching department keeps a full free lesson open at every grade.
Visit the Arcade → - 4 Celebrate the finish lines.
When your kid completes a whole cycle, the certificate is signed by the Mayor himself and worth printing.
- 5 See the week, every week.
Your family view lays out what your kid explored like a week in town, not a grade book.
- 6 When you want all of it.
A membership is the key: it makes your kid a Local, and every lesson in every department opens up.
See membership options →
For Kids
You do not need a grown-up to start playing.
- 1 The Arcade is open right now.
Fifteen games, free forever, nothing to sign up for. Pick one and play.
Play free → - 2 Walk into any department.
Every department keeps a free lesson open. Meet the characters, watch the songs, take the quiz.
Meet the departments → - 3 Got a class code?
If your teacher gave you one, sign in at the student door and your work counts for class.
Student sign-in → - 4 Earn the stamp.
Finish a whole cycle and it gets stamped and dated: a postcard or a certificate you can keep.
That concludes the official tour.
Whichever door you came in through, the town works the same way: meet the characters, learn the concept, practice it, write with it, and earn a certificate with my signature on it. I sign every one personally. My hand does get tired, and I could not be prouder.
