One bright Saturday, the whole neighborhood planned a picnic around Lucy's park bench. Lucy stayed right where she was. "A good picnic comes to you," she said.
Gramma arrived with a pot of soup that smelled . The lemonade tasted , and nobody minded one bit. Even the grass soft and friendly that afternoon.
Then Vinny zoomed through with a kite, and napkins flew everywhere. The whole picnic suddenly nervous. A ladybug landed on Lucy's nose and completely at home there.
Lucy raised one hand, slow as honey. "Friends, this picnic = ," she said. "Just let it be."
So everyone sat down in the grass and breathed. The soup even better the second time. By sunset, every single guest felt , and the bench the calmest spot in town.
Lucy smiled at the sky. "See? Being here was the plan all along."
