Mapping the Platypus Naps on the Platypus Path
Pete is mapping where a sleepy platypus naps along the Platypus Path. Each nap spot is hidden by a preposition. Fill in the missing prepositions and help Pete finish his map.
Pete is waiting at the trailhead to read your finished nap map. Finish up and lead the way.

Li'l Pete tiptoed down the Platypus Path with his pencil and his nap map. "Can I place your things in time or space? Watch me find every cozy nap spot!"
The sleepy platypus first curled up the soft reeds, right by the water. Pete found the next spot the old wooden dock, hidden in the shade. "Did you know slugs have four noses?" Pete whispered, so he would not wake the napper.
The platypus liked to nap lunchtime and again sunset. Pete drew a tiny star each spot on his map. A duck waddled the path and quacked a hello. Pete tucked his finished map his backpack the end of the day. "Every nap spot, located. That is a preposition's whole job!"
Other kids have filled in this story too.
