When Li'l Pete washed up on the desert island, he clutched a sandy map and grinned. "I got the map and the compass, and I'll kick your verbal rumpus into super high gear, lead you everyplace. Every clue is a phrase, scouts!"
The first clue said the chest was buried the tallest palm, right sunrise. Pete paced the white sand and pointed the glittering reef.
A curious crab scuttled the scouts the whole way. "Did you know that children grow faster in the springtime?" Pete added, sharing his one fact for the hour.
The trail of clues led the dunes and stopped two mossy rocks. Pete dug the shells and lifted the chest the sand. "Every clue, a phrase. Every phrase, a treasure."
