It was the windiest day of the year at the Grammaropolis beach. Vinny the Action Verb stood on the warm sand and watched a giant red kite climb higher and higher.
Then a big gust grabbed the kite, and the little duck holding the string sailed up with it. "Lights! Camera!! Action Verb!!!" Vinny shouted, and he sprang into motion.
First he down the beach as fast as the wind. Then he over a tall sandcastle and across the wet sand.
For one quick second, Vinny about the smartest way to be a hero. He that a real hero never gives up. He exactly what to do next.
Vinny was faster than ever. Last summer he this fast only once. Last week he even faster.
With one mighty leap, Vinny the kite string in both hands. Then he gently the little duck back down to the safe, dry sand.
Vinny struck a hero pose. "I take action!" he said with a wink.
