The Grammaropolis County Fair was in full swing when a storm gust tore the giant hot-air balloon loose from its post. Li'l Pete the Preposition dangled from the basket as it drifted toward the dark clouds.
Vinny spotted the danger from the funnel-cake stand and sprang into action. First he had to across the crowded fairgrounds, dodging strollers and corn dogs. Then he over the ticket booth and straight up the tallest flagpole.
For one proud heartbeat, Vinny whether his cape still looked heroic against the sunset. Then he that Li'l Pete was counting on him.
