Your writing prompt · watching closely
Write five to six sentences describing a scene where someone is watching closely and noticing details: a detective at a crime scene, a judge at a science fair, a birdwatcher in a quiet wood, or a fan studying the field. Use at least four of this unit's words: spectator, inspector, inspect, suspect, striking, subtle, markedly, vaguely. Show us the striking detail that leaps out and the subtle one that almost slips past.
We are not after the right observation. We are after yours.
Aim for about 5 sentences.
