Official tools, from the Mayor's desk to your classroom.
Three Claude skills for teachers of Grades 1 through 8: a lesson planner, a set of writing rubrics, and a prewriting toolkit, plus a connector that lets your Claude look things up in the live catalog while it works. Everything runs inside your own Claude, no Grammaropolis account required. Put the whole town to work.
Issued by the Mayor's office
Three skills you download
Plan a lesson with the Mayor
Name a topic, a standard from any state, or just a grade and a general idea, and it builds the whole lesson: a character-led hook, the full Learn, Assess, Practice, Create, and Recognition cycle, the real standard cited, and a materials list, sized to one class period.
It plans English language arts lessons for Grades 1 through 8 only. It does not grade student work, build rubrics, or give essay feedback.

Writing rubrics straight from the desk of the Mayor
Name a writing mode, persuasive, narrative, descriptive, and four more, plus a grade, and it builds a complete rubric in the Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Not Yet format, scored in the Mayor's own voice. Every category is calibrated to the grade and aligned to a CCSS writing standard, with an optional "Before You Turn It In" student self-check.
It covers Grades 1 through 8 and does not yet cover odes or poetry. It will not grade the writing or produce the student work itself.

Eight Mayor-approved prewriting techniques
Give it a grade and, if you have one, your class's own story, and it runs that single story through all eight Grammaropolis prewriting techniques. Because every technique starts with the same story, students see how one set of material becomes eight different starting points. You get worked examples with teacher framing, or a script to perform live.
It works one grade at a time, Grades 1 through 8, and it produces worked examples and a demonstration script, not a graded assignment or finished student essays.

Or connect Claude straight to the catalog
The skills above are files you upload. The connector you add once by web address, and from then on your Claude can look things up in the live Grammaropolis catalog while it works, so plans are built on the real concepts and standards. It reads only, and it never asks for an account or anything about your students.
In Claude, open your connector settings, choose to add a connector, and paste this address. There is no account to make and nothing to sign into.

Browse lessons by department, grade, or a topic in your own words.
Open one lesson. Each department's anchor concept is free at every grade and comes back complete; any other comes back as the details plus a link to the lesson on grammaropolis.com. It never hands Claude paid lesson content.
Find every Grammaropolis lesson that covers a Common Core standard.
A quick tour of the town, the Mayor, and how the teaching cycle works.
If you also have the lesson planner installed, it uses the connector on its own and stays current with the catalog.
Where these come from
Each skill draws on the Grammaropolis catalog: Parts of Speech, the Punctuation Department, the Sentence Factory, The Writing Company, and Wonderful Words, Grades 1 through 8. The same five departments are behind our print workbooks and our free lessons at grammaropolis.com.
