Every day, one sentence comes off the line with something wrong. You find the problem, write your repair, and then check it against the character who owns that mistake. Here is a finished one.

1 · The sentence The squirrel.
2 · What is wrong Vinny the Action Verb: This one names its subject, and then the sentence stops cold. The predicate is missing, and the subject is left with nothing to do and nothing to be.
3 · The repair The squirrel looks small.

On grades 3 through 8, the repair comes with its sentence diagram too.
